Loukoumades with Two Ingredients

Drop spoonfuls of batter into hot oil using a teaspoon or tablespoon, depending on the size you want your loukoumades to be. Fry until they turn a nice golden color.

Remove with a slotted spoon and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.

Repeat the process until all the batter is used. Serve with honey, cinnamon, toasted sesame seeds, chocolate hazelnut spread, or your favorite toppings.

If you want to add cheese (such as crumbled feta, kefalotyri, or kefalograviera), mix it into the batter along with a little pepper, stir well, and follow the same frying process.
