Ingredients

4-5 servings
  1. 1/2 kgbasmati rice
  2. 1/2 kgchicken
  3. 1 bowlfried onion
  4. 1 tspgarlic paste
  5. 1 tbspred chilli powder
  6. 1 tspturmeric powder
  7. 1 tbspgaram masala
  8. to tasteSalt
  9. 1 cupYoghurt
  10. Pinchred colour
  11. As requiredOil for cooking
  12. Some Coriander leaves chopped
  13. 1 tspcumin seeds
  14. 1star anise
  15. 1-1green and big cardamom
  16. 1-2bay leaves
  17. 1 tspshah jeera
  18. 1 small pieceCoal for smokey flavour
  19. 1 tspcoriander powder
  20. Some fried onions for garnish
  21. 1 tbspKesar milk

Cooking Instructions

    Marinate :- In a bowl add chicken, garlic paste, salt, yoghurt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, coriander powder, fried onion, red colour marinate for 1-2 hour.

    In a pan heat the oil, add whole garam masala, crackle it.Add marinate chicken cook for 5 min,add 1 cup water and cook well till chicken is tender add water as per need.

    In a big vessels add oil, salt, rice boil it and socked it. Keep aside.

    In a bowl 1st layer :- Chicken gravy, after add rice spread some coriander leaves, Kesar milk, fried onion, red food colour close it.

    Dum for 10 mins Serve it.
