Garlic Turkey Club

Was watching John Favreau's "The Chef Show" on Netflix. They were making Cubano sandwiches and I just started craving sandwiches, and this recipe became the result of my cravings.

Was watching John Favreau's "The Chef Show" on Netflix. They were making Cubano sandwiches and I just started craving sandwiches, and this recipe became the result of my cravings.
Steps
- 1
Place bacon in a cool skillet or griddle and set to 300°. Cook for 8 minutes (or until crispy), turning occasionally. When done, place bacon on paper towel to get rid of excess grease (it also helps to place another paper towel on top and pat the bacon dry).
- 2
Put separate non-stick skillet on medium-low heat. Take about 1 tablespoon of butter and spread on one slice of bread, covering the face of the loaf. Sprinkle with black pepper and parsley. Set face-down on skillet and cook until lightly browned. Repeat all of this step for each slice.
- 3
Preheat oven to 250°. Spread about 1 tablespoon of aioli on one slice of bread. Layer on 4 slices of turkey on the bottom slices of bread and 1 slice of muenster on each top half and keep in oven for 4-5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
- 4
Add bacon, 1 slice of tomato and lettuce and close the sandwich.
- 5
Makes 2 sandwiches.
