Soak garlic and red chillies in warm water for 20 minutes, then grind it to a smooth paste, keep aside.

In a bowl add flour, gram flour, prepared garlic paste, butter, sesame seeds and salt, mix well.

Now add water little by little and prepare a smooth dough.

Take the star mould and keep in the chakli maker.

Grease the chakli maker with oil.

Fill the chakli maker with dough and press the machine to make spiral shaped chaklis.

Heat oil in a kadai.

When it gets heated, reduce the flame to low.

Drop 3-4 chaklis in hot oil and cook both the sides on low-medium flame until crispy and golden.

Remove in a tissue paper.

Serve or store in air tight container.
