There’s something special about homemade fries. Cheeselings are a favourite munching snack anytime of the day. Make the crunchy and rich cheesy tasting fries at home easily!

Combine flour, soda and salt in a mixing bowl

Add butter and next, followed by cheese

Mix well to form a crumbly dry mixture

Add milk to knead gently into a soft dough
- 5
Rest the dough covered for 15 minutes

Post resting period, divide the dough in two equal parts

Prepare oil for deep frying in a large wok

Roll one portion thin and evenly with the help of some flour

Discard the uneven edges by cutting them with a knife to make a square sheet of dough

Next cut out 1/2 inch pieces by slitting the dough horizontally first and then vertically (to obtain small cubes)

Now in batches and on Low-medium deep fry the sliced pieces till they puff up and look golden / yellow in colour

Rest the fried cheeselings on an absorbent paper for a while

Store in an airtight container once cooled
