  1. 500 gSpaghetti
  2. 125 gbacon cubes
  3. 4eggs
  4. 4 spoonscream
  5. 75 ggrated Parmesan cheese
  6. salt and pepper

    Cook the Spaghetti as described on their package.

  2. 2

    Put a big bowl into the oven at ~200°C.

  3. 3

    Fry the bacon in the pan.

  4. 4

    When the bacon is done, put it into the bowl together with the cheese, cream, eggs, and spices, mix it all together, then put the bowl back in the oven.

  5. 5

    When the pasta is done, drain it and mix it in with the other things in the bowl.

  6. 6

    Put the bowl back in the oven until the egg isn't raw anymore.

This is a cool technique. The tough part of making carbonara is keeping the right temperature to thicken the egg without scrambling it. I've seen all kinds of tricks, but this 'bowl in the oven' technique is a new one.
