Ingredients

  1. 2Drumsticks
  2. 1Potato
  3. 1Capsicum
  4. 2 tspSalt
  5. 2.5 tspSambhar powder
  6. As neededTamarind
  7. 1/2 cupPulses

Cooking Instructions

    Dice drumsticks, capsicum and potato. Add water, turmeric, salt 2 tsp, sambhar powder and hing. Set to low flame and keep covered until vegetables is cooked.

    Soak tamarind in water for about 10 minutes.

    Keep 1/2 cup pulses in a pressure cooker.

  4. 4

    Add 1 cup tamarind extract and tomatoes. Bring to boil.

  5. 5

    Mash cooked pulses,add salt and mix with sambhar.

  6. 6

    Season with mustard, curry leaves and coriander leaves.

  7. 7

    Now sambhar is ready.
