Lotus stem curry

Wash lotus stem.then peeled and cut it.

Cook it with a pinch of soda and salt in pressure cooker till 4-5 whistle.

Peel potatoes and cut them in cubes.Now fry it and keep it aside.

Chop onion, tomato, Ginger and garlic and grind it.

Now heat oil in a pan and fry Cumin seeds with bay leaf and grinded onion-tomato puree.

Now add drained lotus stem and potatoes in it.

Now add rest of masala in it and one cup water with salt.

Let it get cooked for ten minutes then garnish it with clarified butter and coriander leaves.
