Grind the roasted dal, till it becomes powder.

Now mix sugar, water and milk. Then add cardamom powder and saffron strands.

Put it on flame, and let it boil till the sugar dissolves.

Meanwhile heat ghee in a heavy bottom in a wok, add dal powder and roast it for 2-3 minutes.

Add sugar mixture and stir constantly with a long wooden paddle avoiding lumps.

Once ready, add the dry fruits and serve hot.
