Ingredients

  1. 1 cupdalia
  2. 2potatoes
  3. 1onion
  4. 1carrot
  5. 1capsicum
  6. 3/4 cupbread crumbs
  7. 8-10garlic pods
  8. 5-6green chillies
  9. 2 tspred chilli powder
  10. 2 tspgaram masala
  11. 2 tspamchur powder
  12. 2 tspkitchen king masala
  13. 1 tsphaldi
  14. 1 tbspsalt
  15. 2 tbspcoriander leaves
  16. 2 cupsoil for frying

Steps

    Firstly boil the potatoes and keep aside to cool.

  2. 2

    Now finely chop onion carrot and capsicum.

  3. 3

    Now coarsely grind garlic and green chillies.

  4. 4

    Now heat oil in a cooker and add garlic chillie paste and saute for 2-3 secs.

  5. 5

    Now add onion and saute it nicely till you get the aroma and onion is transparent.

  6. 6

    Now add carrot capsicum stir well for few mins.

  7. 7

    Now add dalia and the spices and mix well.

  8. 8

    Keep stirring and cook for 3-4 mins.

  9. 9

    Now add 2 cup water mix it well cover the cooker and give 2 whistle.

    Now transfer the dalia mixture in a plate and let it cool

  11. 11

    Meanwhile boil peel and grate the potatoes in a mixing bowl.

    Now add dalia coriander leaves and mix and mash dalia nicely with your hand till it forms into a dough.

    Now give shape as per your choice

    Heat oil in a kadhai deep fry on medium flame till crispy golden brown.

    Enjoy hot with tomato sauce chutney or a curd dip.
