Cooking Instructions

Gently heat the chocolate, sugar and butter in a double boiler until melted.

Sift the flour into the chocolate mixture well until combined.

Mix in the egg yolks and whites.

Grease a small muffin tin and divide the mixture between 4 openings. Place in the refrigerator for 1 hour to chill.

Preaheat the oven to 200°C

Bake the fondants until firm on the outside and liquid inside, about 10 - 12 min.

Remove the fondants from the ovens and allow to cool in the tin for a few minutes, then turn out onto plates, serve with ice cream, fresh cream or custard

If you want a chiffon cake that doesn't need layers or syrup to brush on, perhaps this recipe is perfect during the busy Christmas season.For the chocolate cookie: 90g unsalted butter, 60g powdered sugar, one egg yolk, 165g cake flour, 15g cocoa; about 1/5 of the batter takes 13 minutes to bake at 180°C (355 Fahrenheit).
