Cooking Instructions

Cut Ivy Gourd as shown. Pressure cook ivy gourd,onion along with the sambhar powder, turmeric powder and salt to taste for three whistles.

Let the pressure settle down. In a pan add oil and temper it with mustard seeds,urad dal and gram dal until it turns light brown in colour. Transfer the pressure cooked ivy gourd and stir fry until moisture evaporates. Garnish it with coriander leaves.

Stir fry ivy gourd goes well with rice and rotis.
