Ingredients

  • 2big onions
  • 3green chillies
  • 1 tspcrushed or chopped ginger
  • 1 tspsalt
  • 1 tspred chilli powder
  • 1/2 tspasafoetida
  • 1/4 tspturmeric powder
  • 1 cupbesan flour
  • As neededOil for deep frying
  • 1/2 cuprice flour

Steps

  1. 1

    Add finely chopped green chillies, ginger, salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and asafoetida

  2. 2

    Mix all the powders nicely with onions. Add besan flour, rice flour and mix nicely. No need to add water as onions will release water

  3. 3

    Heat oil for frying. Sprinkle little water and drop the batter in hot oil
    Cook in medium flame till it is crisp
