Ingredients

  1. 500 gbeef cuts
  2. 3potatoes peeled and cubed
  3. 1 tbsptomato paste
  4. 1-2tomatoes pureed
  5. 1 tspfreshly ground coriander powder
  6. 1 tspfreshly ground turmeric powder
  7. 1-2onions chopped
  8. 1 tspcumin seeds whole
  9. 1whole cinnamon stick
  10. 2whole cardamom pods
  11. 1 tbspginger garlic paste
  12. 3black pepper whole (optional)
  13. 1 tbspcayenne powder

Cooking Instructions

30 - 40mins

    Boil meat in garlic garlic paste, deep fry the potatoes. Set aside.

    Heat oil in a pot add whole spices till they splutter.

  3. 3

    Add onion and meat without broth to brown.

  4. 4

    Add ground spices mix well.

  5. 5

    Add tomatoes, paste and pureed. Let it cook till oil separates.

  6. 6

    Add your potatoes and mix gently so as not to mash them. You can add about half cup water depending on how you want the curry. Simmer on low medium heat till thickens as desired.

    Serve with accompaniment of choice.
