Upping Your Super Noodle Game
I've never been a fan of super noodles from the packet, so after much experimentation this is where I've ended up.
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Open the packet of super noodles and pour the flavour packet into a pyrex jug. Put paprika, lemon juice, butter, soy sauce, sugar, oil, chicken stock, MSG and pepper into a pyrex jug, before adding all of your boiling water and stirring till homogenous.
- 2
Once stirred add in your milk and continue to stir until the chicken stock has fully dissolved. Place the noodles into a wok before pouring over your mixture and cooking on a medium high heat.
- 3
Cook through until the noodles are fully separated before adding the double cream (if adding) and then continue to stir the mixture until happy. (Usually when you can see the wok as you stir it about and it isn't overly liquid)
- 4
Plate and serve, either covering with a sprinkle of paprika or parsley. Though it's damn tasty without.

Most of Indonesians have love and hate relationship with instant noodles, I think. Sure, it's comfort food, but if you eat it too much, you might get sick. Once in a while it is fine! We probably eat it once or twice a month. This is so easy. I've been making this ever since I was in elementary school. Angela Mertoyono -

Chicken ramen noodle casserole Chicken ramen noodle casserole
I saw a video of a lady making this because her kids requested that she tried making it for dinner. My kids love ramen noodles but I don't give it to them often so they were excited to try this. Its not expensive to make and its pretty easy to make as well. I've changed her recipe a little to my liking. It may not be very healthy but its a unique way to use ramen noodles when my kids are craving it and it gets my kids to eat their vegetables on a budget that's really tasty. carrie -
Chinese-style Cellophane Noodle Salad Chinese-style Cellophane Noodle Salad
I loved the "bansansuu" they used to serve for school lunch, so I re-created the dish from memory. The noodles are too long to eat as-is, so cut them up into easy to eat lengths after cooking them.If you mix the seasoning ingredients in a large bowl, add the noodles to the bowl later, you only have the one bowl to wash up.Rub the cucumber with salt and squeeze it out beforehand. If you skip that, the dish will become watery. For 6 servings. Recipe by Hamumaki cookpad.japan -

How to Make an Addictive Sauce for Chilled Chinese Noodles How to Make an Addictive Sauce for Chilled Chinese Noodles
My family like to top Chinese chilled noodles with plenty of veg so that sauce that you get with the noodles is never really enough...I want to use a lot so I always make my own now. This sauce is a little thinner than the sauce that you usually get with the noodles. You can adjust the concentration of the sauce with water and feel free to change the amounts of sugar and vinegar to suit your palate. If you're just making extra sauce to go with the original amount that comes with the noodles, then make half the amount shown here. Recipe by Heartful Kitchen Rei cookpad.japan -
Cappellini Style Chilled Chinese Noodle Sauce Cappellini Style Chilled Chinese Noodle Sauce
Summer is the season where chilled Chinese noodles are being served everywhere. I get tired of the usual taste so I came up with various toppings and a different sauce. If you don't have tomato juice, you can use mineral water (or regular water). You can use tuna that's packed with oil or non-oil! I always use non-oil. Recipe by Heartful Kitchen Rei cookpad.japan
