Ingredients

  1. 2small tomatoes grated
  2. 4-6 tbspsoil
  3. 1tamarind soaked in a little water
  4. 1/4 tspturmeric powder
  5. 1/2 tspcoriander powder
  6. 6-8 slicesunsweetened white bread / Pav
  7. to tasteSalt
  8. 1big bunch of coriander leaves
  9. 1/2 bunchFenugreek
  10. 1medium sized onion
  11. 8-10 clovesgarlic
  12. 1 inchpiece ginger
  13. 2green chillies

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    In a heated pan, add in oil, garlic, ginger, green chillies, onions and mix well.

    Add in methi leaves and coriander and mix again.

  3. 3

    Add turmeric powder, chilli powder and saute

  4. 4

    Put in tomatoes, mix and let it cook.

  5. 5

    Make it into a fine paste with the help of a hand blender.

  6. 6

    Pour in tamarind water along with salt.

  7. 7

    Put in the bread, mix and cook.

  8. 8

    Garnish and serve.
