Oats brekkie

I hate oats. But the doctor’s advice is to eat oats daily to bring down my cholesterol. Yes daily -any meal.

And wow, it’s really true.
I did an oats brekkie for nearly 3 months and my cholesterol dropped!!!!!

To reward myself for having oats as breakfast, i would include my favourite grain buckwheat, nuts, seeds & fruits. Figs & golden kiwis are a nice combination.

The basic recipe is
Grains + dried fruits + sweetener +nuts/seeds + fresh fruits

Sweetener can be honey, brown sugar
But usually I omit them as the dried fruits would impart some sweetness.
