Oats brekkie

I hate oats. But the doctor’s advice is to eat oats daily to bring down my cholesterol. Yes daily -any meal.
And wow, it’s really true.
I did an oats brekkie for nearly 3 months and my cholesterol dropped!!!!!
To reward myself for having oats as breakfast, i would include my favourite grain buckwheat, nuts, seeds & fruits. Figs & golden kiwis are a nice combination.
The basic recipe is
Grains + dried fruits + sweetener +nuts/seeds + fresh fruits
Sweetener can be honey, brown sugar
But usually I omit them as the dried fruits would impart some sweetness.

Granola-rama (pan-roasted granola) Granola-rama (pan-roasted granola)
This recipe was inspired by my visit to a friends house. I wanted to whip-up this for breakfast, but at the absence of an oven this is a perfect alternative. I always love granola weather it is in a bar or home-made in zip-locked bag. I love the taste of spices as well as the crunch I get from the roasted oats and the fresh fruits. This is an excellent snack and breakfast since it gives you your daily dose of fiber and vitamins. It also keeps you full for a long time. So I hope you guys would try my recipe and love it like I do. chef.serolf -

Overnight Oats Overnight Oats
Overnight oats are, of course, a healthy breakfast and they re easy to make, but they also feel like a special treat, sweet with dried fruit. Unlike oatmeal, uncooked but softened oats retain a fresh flavor and taste delicious cold. Top it with nuts just before eating for an irresistible crunch against the creamy oats.#GlobalApron Ricardo -

Fruit Bread (White Yogurt Bread) Fruit Bread (White Yogurt Bread)
I thought that it would be pretty if I made white bread with assorted colorful dried fruits. After several attempts I was successful.I couldn't get a hold of them this time, but if you add green maraschino cherries or angelica to the mix, the bread should be even prettier.I used lemon and orange peel, dried pineapples, dried apricots, dried apple, dried cranberries and dried mangoes this time. Choose your dried fruits so that you don't have just very sour or very sweet types; go for a good balanced mix. Have fun trying out your favorite fruits. Recipe by La Land cookpad.japan -
Overnight Oats Overnight Oats
I found a recipe for apple overnight oats in my feed and decided to make something similar with the dried fruits I had on hand. I used steel cut oats in the recipe, if you want to use other types of oats you may need to reduce the water, maybe ⅓ cup for rolled or quick cooking oats. This should make for a good breakfast. 蛟龍Stormwyrm -
