Heat a cooker & pour oil, add all khada masalas & sauté well.

Add grated ginger, garlic & sauté, add green chilles, sauté.

Add thinly sliced onions & sauté until golden brown. Add hing

Add tomatoes, dry masalas(red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala & salt) & sauté well until tomatoes are completely mashed.

Once tomatoes are mashed, add all veggies, sauté & simmer for 2 mins.

Add 1 tbsp kasuri methi, sauté for 1 min & add rice & sauté for 1 min again.

Pour hot water, mix it well & close the lid for 1 whistle & lower the flame and cook for 2 mins.

Masala Bhaat is ready to be served. Garnish with coriander and serve hot.
