One of the pain points of trying a dessert recipe is that it tends to become very tedious. However, this golden brown Atte ka Halwa is a breath to make and eat whenever you want, people. Just one thing before making it whatever quantity you are taking for wheat flour the water will be double. As in if you are taking one bowl of flour then the quantity of water will be two bowls.

Heat ghee in a heavy bottom pan. Add whole wheat floor and stir it on medium flame until it gets golden brown in colour. I don't like nuts that is why not using them but you can put nuts and dry fruits to make it more rich in flavor.

On the other pan boil two bowls of water and make sugar syrup so that sugar can easily get dissolve in halwa.

Once the flour is done add the sugar syrup and cook it until the water gets absorbed. Garnish it with whatever you like silver foil, dry fruits. I like it simple that's why using nothing. It's ready to eat.
