Steps

Wash the chana dal and pressure cook it by adding some salt and haldi powder untill 2 whistle comes.

Now make a tadka.

In a tadka pan add desi ghee after it gets heated add cumin seeds,heeng,bay leaf,cloves,cardamom and saute them for few sec.

Now add chopped onions,ginger garlic paste,green chilli and fry them untill golden brown.

Now add chopped capsicum and cook them for 1 min.

Then add chopped tomato and cook them until oil leaves from the corners.

Now add red chilli powder,garam masala and mix well..

After that mix everything pour cooked chana dal into this tadka and sprinkle some coriander leaves.Give them a final mix.

Keep like this for 1 min.then serve hot with roti or rice.

Enjoy as it feels like restaurant style dal.
