Sesame Dressing Sesame Dressing
Coffee creamer that you bring home, but don't use: It's troublesome to refuse it when offered, but then again it's a waste to throw away. So I decided to use it in a dressing.Alternative name for this recipe: "Sesame Dressing (For Ku-chan)"My son loves this dressing. It's convenient if you use coffee creamer which holds 5 ml in each container. It tastes even better if you lightly toast the sesame seeds before grinding.Mix the dressing every time before use. Simit: Turkish Bread Rings Coated with Sesame Seeds Simit: Turkish Bread Rings Coated with Sesame Seeds
I had a craving for Turkish bread called "Simit", so I baked a few.If you do not have grape juice, you could substitute it with honey diluted in lukewarm water. If possible, use "pekmez" (thick grape syrup) dissolved in water. This is a common ingredient used in Turkey.Baking quickly at a high temperature is the key to this recipe. Recipe by Hirakegoma cookpad.japan -
Homemade Creamy Sesame Dressing Homemade Creamy Sesame Dressing
I love sesame dressing...but the store-bought version is expensive so I tried making my own!I like this to be on the sweet side, so I've added quite a lot of sugar! Please adjust to your taste.I wanted the texture of the sesame seeds to remain, so I just ground them up halfway.I am not sure how long this will keep. I always store it in a jar (see photo) in the refrigerator, and use it up within a week to 10 days. Recipe by Oshisu cookpad.japan
