Scones Scones
I made my own versions of a recipe I saw in a magazine a while ago. I tried adding yogurt and other ingredients, but settled on this.In step 3, make sure you mix until the dough is crumbly. If you are using a cup to cut out the pieces, the dough will expand nicely if you use a cup with a thin rim. Recipe by lov_sweets cookpad.japan -
Bienenstich Cake with Homemade Vanilla Creme Bienenstich Cake with Homemade Vanilla Creme
Note: This recipe is a work-in-progress. I adapted from a German recipe, but the dough seems to come out too soft and sometime the custard might not get thick enough according to another person who cooked :( I'll update this sometime soon [3/29/2016]This is a German pastry loved by all ;) The name means "Bee Sting" in German. Most German recipes use instant pudding, but in this recipe I've included how to make your own vanilla custard creme filling (you can double it if you love the super cream-filled kind!). You'll probably need a couple hours to make this so plan ahead. Felice -
Raisin Scones Raisin Scones
Incredibly tender scones that are crisp outside but flaky on the inside. This recipe is very versatile that we can substitute raisins with currants, cherries, cranberries or other favorite dried fruits. Spoonful Passion -
No-bake donuts No-bake donuts
This recipe is delicious! I have tried so many donut recipes but none of them helped or worked. I found this recipe somewhere and I was like “I have to try it before I give up”. I was amazed! And it being no bake but something you can fry is like cherry on top Zarrish Bhatti -
Plain Scones Plain Scones
I started making scones a few years ago. I tried many recipes on different sites, and settled on these amounts. You can make your own version of this recipe, such as using 100g of cake flour and 100g of bread flour, or using only milk, etc. It's often said that you have to chill the butter or if the dough is runny you must refrigerate it, etc., but I don't really think about those things. They usually turn out fine as long as the dough isn't watery. However, forgetting to add the baking powder will give a bad result, so make sure you add it. Recipe by Kurapura cookpad.japan -
Unforgettable Scones Unforgettable Scones
A long time ago a café near where I worked had these delicious scones. I'd eat them, and then everyday at home try various ingredients to make this. This is the result of various attempts. If you leave all the ingredients in the refrigerator and let them cool, it'll bake very nicely. We only have an electric oven at home so it's not possible, but if you have a gas oven you can get close to those unforgettable scones. If you make these with a gas oven, please let me know. Recipe by Mahha mama cookpad.japan -
Challah Challah
I adapted this recipe from a popular recipe I found online, but that one used shortening and had too much salt.I sorta lazily skipped most of the kneading. And I think that's why the loaves didn't really have a true braided definition like you would expect from a challah. Probably should have used a bit more flour as well. But, it turned out so good that I'm not sure I want to do it the right way. Ryan Goodwin -
Russian-Style Blini Crepe with Cake Flour Russian-Style Blini Crepe with Cake Flour
I just felt like wrapping various fillings. This recipe uses yeast, but it shouldn't cause your crepe to rise or double in size. When the surface of the yeast mixture starts to bubble it's ready. Even if you spread these crepes really thinly they'll still end up nice and fluffy, so don't worry. Conversely, if you make them too thick, they may become too fluffy. Danish pastry Danish pastry
I don't think I will be able to eat a store bought danish after being spoiled by these. Big thanks to my friend who so kindly shared this recipe with me and spent hours instructing me. Takes about 5 hours to make (including chilling time, but well worth the effort). Dough can made ahead and refrigerated for 3 days. Or shaped and frozen for approx 3 months. Please see my cream cheese and raspberry filling recipes for some homemade filling inspiration. You can always use jam or preserves too! Lil_Momma -

Scones Scones
The scones I had at a café were just too delicious that I became addicted. Since I like a simple taste that goes with jam and cream, I made these soft and fluffy with no sweetness.I used a half-amount of chocolate chips, 30 g. Jam tablets are also delicious.I use good flour when making scones. This time I used dolce.I think they're best when warm, so if they cool, please heat them in a microwave or toaster oven before eating. Recipe by nyonta cookpad.japan
