I made my own versions of a recipe I saw in a magazine a while ago. I tried adding yogurt and other ingredients, but settled on this.

In step 3, make sure you mix until the dough is crumbly. If you are using a cup to cut out the pieces, the dough will expand nicely if you use a cup with a thin rim. Recipe by lov_sweets

Ingredients

10 servings
  1. 70 gramsButter
  2. 100 gramsMilk
  3. 1Egg yolk
  4. 300 gramsCake flour
  5. 2 tspBaking powder
  6. 35 gramsSugar
  7. 3 gramsSalt

Cooking Instructions

    Cut the butter into small pieces. Mix the milk and egg yolk together and set aside.

    Sift the flour, baking powder, sugar and salt into a bowl. Add the butter.

    Mix by hand or with a blender until it's crumbly.

    Mix in the combined milk and egg in small batches.

  5. 5

    When it's no longer floury, lightly knead it together by hand.

    Dust on some flour and roll out the dough to a thickness of 1.5 - 2 cm. Cut out the shapes with a cutter or cup.

    Bake for 10 minutes in an oven preheated to 200℃, then for 15 minutes at 180℃.
