Let it cook for 30 sec - 1 min. Donot let fenugreek seeds burn. Once Fenugreek seeds turn little dark brown, add the besan and buttermilk mixer in the cooker. Mix it well.

  3. 3

Increase the flame now and let the kadi mixture come to boil. As soon as it starts boiling add hing, salt, red chilli powder, haldi, dhaniya powder, garam masala. Mix it well and now keep the flame as low..Let Kadi cook on low flame for another 30-45 minutes. You can adjust the spices according to your taste. Add some water in Kadi if it turns too thick.

If cooking cooker with 1 glass rice, add 1.5 glass water. Let the Rice cook for 2 whistles in cooker. For kadai, cook rice in high flame first..When very little water is left, place a tawa on the flame and out kadai on the tawa. This will prevent rice to get stuck with kadai bottom.

  6. 6

Now add the pakodas in the kadi. If Kadi is less sour, you can add 1 lemon juice in that. As long as kadi is cooked on low flame, more tasty it becomes. Take tadka pan. add ghee. let it heat. Now add 2-3 whole red chillies in it and let it release it's colour. Now add this tadka in the kadi and mix it well. Cook it for another 15 mins.
