Wholegrain chapati with onion and coriander

Ingredients

8 pieces
  1. 4 tbspsugar (adjustable depending on preference)
  2. 4 tbspmelted ghee to kneed
  3. Ghee to fry
  4. Warm water
  5. 1 tbspsalt
  6. 2.5 cupsAtta wholegrain wheat flour
  7. 1 bunchfinely chopped coriander
  8. Halfan onion. Finely chopped

Cooking Instructions

    Finely chop the coriander and onion and soak them in warm water.

    Mix the salt, sugar flour evenly

  3. 3

    Add in t ghee and rub in for three minutes

  4. 4

    Add in the coriander and onion. Bit by bit, pour in the water that soaked them and then kneed for ten minutes until smooth and elastic.

    Divide the dough into your desired portions, not too big not too small. Roll each portion into a circle, oil the top surface and fold them as shown below

    Apply the top part with oil and cover with a cling film. Place them in a refrigerator for 1 - 24 hrs as desired.

    Roll out each piece and fry in oil on each side.

    Best served hot.
