Apple peel tea

When I was traveling to the South of Brazil, where there are so many German descendants I find out this refresching and amazing tea.
Talking to owners of tea shop they teached me how to make it and since them I’m addicted to it.
In fact every time I make Apple puree I use the peels for the tea and vice versa!
The recipe is the same for green apples but I’d rather red one tea.

Apple Tea Jam Apple Tea Jam
I was bored with regular apple jam, so I tried to come up with something new and this recipe was born. I imagined tea would be a great match with apples since there is apple tea. I ended up with a jam with a perfect color and smell. Please use any tea and sugar you prefer. I recommend using Earl Grey because of the strong fragrance. I also recommend using Jonathan apples since they don't fall apart when cooked, but I used Fuji this time and it was delicious. Bottle in a small jar, pack it with scones and bread, and it will be a very popular gift! For 1-2 medium jar. Recipe by yaburie. cookpad.japan -
Black Tea Apple Cake (Tarte Tatin Style) Black Tea Apple Cake (Tarte Tatin Style)
I layered apples on the bottom of the pan in a tarte tatin style, and added black tea leaves to make a fragrant black tea apple cake; I baked it in a rice cooker. A recipe for apple cake gave me the idea to make this. The sponge cake portion of the cake should rise as shown in the photo. If you cover it with a cloth or plastic wrap while still hot, and gently press down on it, you can control the degree of rising. You can easily make this with 1 apple, but using 2 apples gives it a richer flavor. Genmai (or Other Tea) Snickerdoodles Genmai (or Other Tea) Snickerdoodles
This recipe was inspired by a Martha Stewart Holiday Cookie recipe, minus the cinnamon sugar, plus some genmai cha thrown into and atop, and with a few minor adjustments to size and bake time, but the concept would work well with any basic drop sugar cookie or snickerdoodle recipe.A lightly sweet cookie with that little bit of fluff and chew that I love in a snickerdoodle, paired with a hint of roasted, nutty genmai and mild green tea flavor. A little East meets West kind of treat that's super easy to make. I happen to love genmai, but you can use pretty much any bagged tea you like (loose leaf is too coarse).A great alternative to the usual lineup of Christmas / Holiday cookies, too!As with most cookie recipes, it's a good idea to bring your butter and eggs to room temp (30 minutes or so out of the fridge - less if it's a blistering hot summer day) before starting. x -
