Cooking Instructions

Soak daal maash & rice for 2 to 3 hrs at least. Now blend them with onion and 2 tbsp boiled rice in less water to make thick paste. Now cover it and leave it over night.

Now next day prepare chutneys and bhurta. For Coconut chutney blend coconut, green chillies, ginger, salt, gram flour and imli pulp together.

Now prepare its Tarka.. heat oil and put mustard seeds, red button chillies, daal maash & curry leaves.. fry them and pour on chutney and mix it well.

Now peanut chutney : roast peanuts and crush it.. now grind it with imli pulp, salt, green chillies & cilantro.

Now prepare Aloo Bhurta : Mash boiled potatoes.

Now in a pot heat oil and add cumin seeds, mustard seeds & curry leaves and let them crackle.

Now add onion and fry till golden brown and add tomatoes & dry spices and bhunofy it till tomatoes becomes soft.

Now add Green Chillies & mashed potaoes and mix them well and keep mixing until it starts leaving the pan.

Now take grinded daal and rice mixture and add salt and baking soda in it.. beat for few mins with hands and now pour some water to prepare the required batter. Make sure it shouldn't be too thick or too runny.

Now heat non-stick tawa or pan and pour a spoon full of batter in the middle of the tawa and slowly move spoon in circular motion to spread the batter on tawa.

Cook on medium heat till the lower side becomes nice brownish.. you can flip and cook the other side for 1 mins as well if you want to... now slowly put it on a plate.. spread Aloo bhurta on it and make a roll.

Serve it with prepared chutneys & Sirarcha sauce (optional) Enjoy !
