This alu tarkari is similar to the one that you get at the halwa pori stall, just more hygienic. This recipe is super simple to make, and Tastes delicious with pori ,Pratha ,Samosa and kachori.
All you need is a char on the side.

Ingredients

30 minutes
3,4 person
  1. 1/2 KgPotatoes
  2. 1Tomato
  3. 1/2 teaspooncumin seed
  4. 1 1/2 teaspoonchilli flakes
  5. 1 teaspooncoriander seeds crushed
  6. 1 Tablespoonsfenugreek seeds
  7. 2 cupwater
  8. 1 teaspoonnigella seeds
  9. 2 teaspoonlemon juice or tamarind paste
  10. Salt to taste

Cooking Instructions

30 minutes

    Boiled potato and cut in cubes add spices

    Roughly Chopped Tomatoes,add in a pan.

    Then add water and let it simmer on low flame

  4. 4

    Then add spices and mix well

  5. 5

    Stir constantly and let it simmer until thick enough.add

  6. 6

    Serve with naan or halwa pori etc.

  7. 7

    Garnish with achar and kalwanji
