Ingredients

  1. 1 cupWhole wheat flour
  2. 1/2 cupGram flour
  3. 1 tspSalt
  4. 1 tspAjwain/ carom seeds
  5. 1 tspRefined Oil
  6. 1/3chopped onion (finely)
  7. 2chopped green chillies
  8. 1 pinchHing/asafoetdia
  9. As neededWater
  10. 1/2 tspTurmeric powder

Cooking Instructions

    Take 1 cup whole wheat flour and 1/2 cup Gram flour.

    Add 1 tsp Ajwain,1 tsp salt,1 tsp refined oil and 1 pinch of Hing.

    Add 1/3 finely chopped Onion,1-2 chopped green chillies,1/2 tsp Turmeric powder and mix together well.

    Add water as needed.

    Make a soft and smooth dough and keep it for 10 mins.

    Now divide the dough into 4 equal parts.

    Roll it with dust whole wheat flour.

    Take a pan and cook the roti. You can also brush little bit of oil or ghee/butter.

    Serve it hot with Sabji/curd/pickles.
