Ingredients

  1. 400 gmsred carrots
  2. 1/2 cupsugar
  3. 2 tbspghee
  4. 1 cupfull fat milk
  5. 2 tbspmilk powder
  6. 3green cardamoms
  7. 7-8cashew nuts chopped
  8. 1 tbspraisins

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Peel and grate carrots.Heat ghee in a pan and add the carrots.Fry for few minutes.Add sugar, pinch of salt and fry again till sugar dissolves and carrot attains a nice colour.Add milk and boil.

    Make a thick paste of milk powder by diluting it in 2 tbsp warm milk.Add this to the carrot and keep stirring continuously till moisture in carrot dries up.Sprinkle cardamom powder and chopped cashewnuts and raisins.Pistachios can also be added.

    Garnish with chopped nuts and raisins and serve this warm as a delicious dessert.
