Ingredients

One hour
6 to 8 small bowls
  1. 2kilo Carrots
  2. 1 litremilk full fat
  3. 750 grams sugar
  4. 1/2teaspoon Elaichi powder
  5. 2 tablespoonMilk powder
  6. 1 cupGhee
  7. as requiredFew cashews and raisins for garnishing

Cooking Instructions

    Wash and grate Carrots. Take big heavy bottom vessel. Put Ghee and Add carrots to it. Let it cook on medium flame till it releases oil. Keep stirring in between so that it doesn't stick to the bottom.

    When ghee is released add milk to it and cook until milk is absorbed. Cook on low flame and keep stirring in between.

    When milknia absorbed again it will release ghee. You can add sugar and milk well. Keep stirring continusly. Add elachi powder and milk powder to it. Keep the flame low. Sugar will melt and get dissolved and colour of halwa will get a bit darker. Keep on lower flame and let it cook for 10 more mins.

    Halwa is ready to be served
    Garnish with cashews and raisins.
