Chunky Okra & Tofu Salad Chunky Okra & Tofu Salad
I was asked to make a dish that was quick to make during the hot summer days and that would increase the appetite. The flavorful pure sesame oil use in the dressing really brings out the flavor of the other ingredients. Since this dressing goes well with various ingredients, you can use it on salad daily.Silken tofu will fall apart too easily, so I recommend using firm tofu. You can use the microwave to remove the moisture if you don't have time. In that case, wrap the tofu in a paper towel and microwave for 1-2 minutes. It will taste even better if you blanch the tomatoes to remove the skin. Recipe by Kadoya-seiyu cookpad.japan -

Easy Spinach and Mashed Tofu Salad with Aromatic Sesame Seeds Easy Spinach and Mashed Tofu Salad with Aromatic Sesame Seeds
This recipe is a part of my easy healthy food project!I'm experimenting with staple side dishes that have lots of vegetables with as little oil and sweet ingredients as possible.Since it's a healthy dish, the seasoning is a little on the lighter side. The sesame seeds are aromatic so it doesn't bother me that much. If it's not enough, add miso and soy sauce, and adjust the taste to your liking. Recipe by chibirock cookpad.japan -

Japanese Macaroni Salad with Tofu Japanese Macaroni Salad with Tofu
I had leftover tofu. I didn't have vegetables to make a salad. I gathered the ingredients that I had at home, then I made this Japanese salad. If you use tofu as is, the salad will be watery from the water content in the tofu. You don't need to drain the excess water completely, but drain until no more water comes out from the tofu. You also have to drain excess water from the macaroni, otherwise the ponzu sauce won't be absorbed well, so be careful. I just tried combining my favourite ingredients, and my family loved it! This has been a family favourite for a long time. The key is the strain the tofu well. Avocado and tofu break up easily, so if you are making a large amount, it's better to mix the seasonings in advance and then gently mix them in. The amount of salt listed is just a guide; adjust to your tastes. Recipe by Heartful Kitchen Rei cookpad.japan
