I've created the updated version of Aloo Samosa by adding shredded chicken in it and then wrapped it in the normal way. This recipe is very loved one for the kids. You should try it this Ramadan. I am sure you will love it.

Cooking Instructions

Mix the shredded chicken with potato filling and fill in samosa
Heat the oil and fry until golden
Serve with chutney.

Making it at home is actually pretty straightforward.But I gave it a try with the samosa. A filling of crunchy toasted kataifi pastry, smothered in pistachio cream and then wrapped in samosa pastry, fried and finally dipped in rich chocolate. Finally, it is served with sprinkled chopped pistachios.It would be difficult for most people to lay hands on kataifi. The closest substitute would be Pheni and you can find it in most South Asian grocery stores in the west. It is easily available in Pakista! Pheni is fried vermicelli so does well as an easy substitute for frying the shredded kataif.
