All of us are already bored of eating the same kind of lunch week after week during this lockdown. Want a change? Well, then it is time for you to try out this simple and healthy dish, Jeera rice. Jeera rice is a common flavoured rice dish made with the main ingredients - Ghee, basmati rice and Jeera. This is a dish that all of you should try doing at home because it is time consuming and needs only a handful of ingredients.

This is a dish that I usually do at home when I break my head and have no idea on what to cook for lunch. This dish goes really well with aloo capsicum masala, paneer butter masala or any other spicy curry.

Jeera, also known as cumin has various medicinal properties. Cumin not only adds flavour to Indian dishes but also helps to imcrease nutritional values. These small cumin seeds are rich in iron, zinc and copper. Jeera rice is great to include in your meal as it helps in digestion.

Overall, this is a very easy dish with so many uses. A perfect lunch for Simple Sunday!
