Cara Memasak
- 1
Prepare all the ingredients in advance.
- 2
Heat some oil in a pan and start frying chopped onion. Then add sausages and mushrooms. Once they become flagrant, add tomato ketchup and chicken stock powder.
- 3
Add white rice in the pan and mix well. Once the rice are colored evenly, remove the pan from heat.
- 4
Take one-third of the rice and use a plastic wrap to make a ball which becomes bear's face. Make 2 small balls for the bear's ears. Serve the rest of the rice for the bear's body(It will be covered by the omelette so no need to shape nicely).
- 5
Prepare the bear's face. Cut seaweed and cheese with scissors and carefully arrange on the face.
- 6
Crack 2 eggs and add milk. Whisk it. Prepare butter.
- 7
Heat the butter in a clean frying pan and wait until it all melts. Pour the egg and cook under low-medium heat. Cover with a lid for few minutes. Once the omelette is ready, place it on the bear as if it looks like his/her blanket! Enjoy🧸❤️

Chinese style crab meat omelette on rice “Tenshinhan”, cooking for 1 person - 天津飯 Chinese style crab meat omelette on rice “Tenshinhan”, cooking for 1 person - 天津飯
“Tenshinhan” is recognized as Chinese dish in Japan, but it was actually born in Japan, which I didn’t know until just now😂It’s easy but fulfilling and looks good too. As I know that my mother, who is a housewife, often cooks this for lunch when she is alone at home(I know this because she sent me URLs of Cookpad Japan’s “Tenshinhan” recipes or her cooksnaps few times before).Today, as I had to take a dinner by myself, I remembered this dish and tried cooking it. I combined 2 recipes from Cookpad Japan and here I would like to save my version. Kanaaneko -

Hainan chicken rice cooked in Staub pot 🐓 "So shiok!" 😋🇸🇬 Hainan chicken rice cooked in Staub pot 🐓 "So shiok!" 😋🇸🇬
Having lived in Singapore for around 10 years, Hainan chicken rice is one of my most favorite dishes of all! ❤️I’m always missing the taste in local hawker center, especially Tian Tian in Maxwell food court. My recipe is still very far from that authentic professional level, but I’m confident that this is delicious enough to enjoy at home😁 And it’s so easy too!(You don’t need to prepare a whole chicken or boil it for few hours)Instead of using a Staub pot, you can use a rice cooker to cook chicken and rice too!As for the sauce, please try dark soy sauce if you can buy it as it usually comes together with chicken rice in Singapore. Since it’s not widely available in Japan, this time I made an original sauce(which is also tasty though!).😉*Shiok means delicious in Singlish. Kanaaneko -
Corn and Konbu Japanese mixed rice / “Takikomi - Gohan” 🌽 🇯🇵 Corn and Konbu Japanese mixed rice / “Takikomi - Gohan” 🌽 🇯🇵
“Takikomi - Gohan” is a Japanese mixed rice seasoned with dashi and soy sauce along with some meat, fish or vegetables. In Japan, corn is now in the season, so I made the one with corn and shio konbu (seasoned kelp strips/store bought one). Even if this shio konbu is not available at your place, you can skip it or you can substitute it with any other ingredients! #cppassport Kanaaneko -

Butter Corn Rice with Salmon Butter Corn Rice with Salmon
79/365This recipe was inspired by the Reels I found on IG. One of the must have cooking ingredients at home is salmon as it is good for my MIL's arthritis condition. So i've been looking for variety of recipes with salmon. This by far is the quickest and the easiest recipe. All you need is a rice cooker and it will do the cooking task for you. I continued doing my task while waiting for it to cook. 😆I changed a few of the ingredients from the original recipe (that uses a lot of japanese ingredients..didnt wanna shock my mil's tastebuds 🙃). Japanese soft and juicy teriyaki chicken 🇯🇵 Japanese soft and juicy teriyaki chicken 🇯🇵
To make the chicken soft and juicy, I’m adding some sugar when seasoning the chicken. Because sugar works as a natural tenderizer! I learned this tip from Cookpad Japan author.😊This recipe is quick and easy. Basically, fry chicken and add teriyaki sauce in the last step! It’s my family’s favorite and hope you and your family will enjoy too! Looking forward to your cooksnaps ❤️❤️#cppassport Kanaaneko -
Korean yangnyeom chicken made with homemade sauce - 양념치킨🇰🇷 Korean yangnyeom chicken made with homemade sauce - 양념치킨🇰🇷
Korean yangnyom chicken is one of the most popular foods which we've seen in lots of Korean dramas. When I went to Seoul last time, I found chicken shops everywhere. There are about 36,000 fried chicken restaurants in South Korea(data as of 2016). This is more than the number of McDonald's stores worldwide!!😱💦According to my husband, who is from Korea, yangnyeom chicken is usually not a home-cooked food and people mostly buy or order from outside. However, in overseas, we cannot always find Korean chicken shops. Also, I believe that the homemade one can be a bit more healthier than the one from outside. Therefore, I searched for over 10 recipes from several sources both in Korean and Japanese and made my own original sauce🙌 My husband loved it so it must be close to the authentic one!In Korea, pickled radishes always come together with yangnyeom chicken. I have uploaded the recipe too, so please cook together!!❤️ Kanaaneko
