Ingredients

  1. Dry ingredients
  2. 350 gAll-purpose flour
  3. 7 tspBaking powder
  4. 1 tspSalt
  5. Wet ingredients
  6. 90 gUnsalted butter
  7. 1egg
  8. 170 gMilk
  9. 3 tspWhite sugar
  10. 1 tspVanilla extract
  11. Minimal egg for glazing

Cooking Instructions

    Pre-heat the oven to 200C. Cover the tray with baking sheet.

    Mix the dry ingredients

    Cut butter in to small cube. Use your hands to mix it with the dry ingredients mixture.

    Mix wet ingredients

  5. 5

    Slowly pour the wet ingredient mixture into the dry ingredients mixture

    Use your hands to flatten the dough(about 2.5 cm in thickness). Use cookie cutter to make small scone dough.

    Glaze the top of the scones with egg.

    Bake for 12-15 mins.

    Serve with jam and cream
