Ingredients

  1. 500grmShark fish
  2. 2Onion (thinly sliced)
  3. 8Green chilli (cut into two, length wise)
  4. 1 cupGrated coconut
  5. 10Garlic pearls
  6. 1tspCumin seed
  7. 1 tbsFennel seed
  8. 1 tspTurmeric powder
  9. to tasteSalt
  10. 5 tbsOil
  11. 1,/2 cupCurry leaves
  12. 1/2 cupMint leaves and coriander leaves

Cooking Instructions

    Boil fish with turmeric powder and salt for 10min, drain and keep

    Remove skin and mash the flesh

  3. 3

    Cut onion into thin slices, slit chillies, crush garlic, cumin mint leaves and coriander leaves

    Keep a pan, add oil, fry onion and chilli, fennal seed, curry leaves stir for 10min

  5. 5

    Add garlic, cumin, continue to stir for 5min

  6. 6

    Now add mashed fish, keep stir in medium flame for 15min

  7. 7

    Now add coconut, reduce flame, cover and cook for 10min

  8. 8

    Enjoy your sura puttu with sambar rice
