Ingredients

10 -15 minutes
2-3 people
  1. 2 cupsboiled rice
  2. 6-8curry leaves
  3. 1/4 tspchana dal
  4. 1/2 tspdhuli urad dal
  5. 1 tspmustard seeds
  6. 1-2dry red chilli
  7. 1-2green chilli (optional)
  8. 1/4 cuproasted peanuts
  9. 1 tablespoonlemon juice
  10. 1 tspturmeric powder
  11. 1 tablespoonoil
  12. As per taste Salt

Cooking Instructions

    Take one non - stick pan and heat oil and add mustard seeds, dry red chili, both dal, curry leaves, green chili, and peanuts.

    Fry for 1-2 minutes then off the flame for 2-3 minutes and let this tadka cool down. After that add turmeric powder and boiled rice. Mix well then add salt and lemon juice.

    Lemon rice is ready. Serve it with coconut curry or you cam have this tasty rice as it is. It is perfect for tiffin and light meals also.
