Ingredients

  1. 1 cuprice
  2. 1 cupdal
  3. as per taste salt
  4. 1/2 table spoon red chilli powder
  5. 1/2 table spoon turmeric powder
  6. 1/2 table spoon garam masala
  7. 1/2 table spoon amchur powder
  8. 2 tablespoondesi ghee
  9. 1/2 table spoon cumin seeds
  10. 1chopped onion
  11. 1chopped tomato

    Wash and soak rice and dal separately for nearly 10 minutes or more and drain the water. Take one cooker add daal with salt, water and haldi. cook for 3 vessel and put the flame off.

    Take one pan and heat desi ghee add cumin seeds, Hing, onion and tomato. Fry for 2-3 minutes. Then add red chilli and put the flame off. Pour the mixture into daal.

    Keep 3 cups of water to boil. Add soaked rice and cover and cook till the rice is soft and tender. Once done switch off the flame and serve rice with dal.
