Ingredients

25 minutes
3-4 persons
  1. 1.5 tbspoil
  2. 1/2 tspcumin seeds
  3. 1large onion sliced
  4. 1/2 tspgrated ginger
  5. 1large tomato
  6. 250 gbhindi (washed and chopped)
  7. as per tasteSalt
  8. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  9. 1/2 tspred chilli powder
  10. 1 tspcoriander powder
  11. 1 tspcurry powder
  12. as requiredSprinkle amchoor powder

Cooking Instructions

25 minutes
  1. 1

    Heat oil. Splutter cumin seeds. Add onion and grated ginger. Saute till onion is brownish. Next add tomato.

    Add salt and turmeric powder. Mix all together. Let it cook in slow flame till tomato is mushy and fried.

    Add chopped bhindi. Mix all well. Cook till bhindi is softened. Next add coriander powder and curry powder.

    Mix and cook without cover.
    As bhindi is nicely fried, switch the flame off.
    If you like it bit tangy, add some amchoor powder and give a nice gentle mix.
    Serve with rice and enjoy!!
