Ingredients

  1. 16 ozElbow macaroni
  2. 2 tablespoonsFlour
  3. 1 stickUnsalted butter
  4. 1 cupHeavy cream
  5. 2 cupsMilk
  6. 2 cupsshredded Sharp cheddar
  7. 2 cupsshredded Colby jack
  8. Salt and pepper
  9. 2 teaspoonsOnion powder
  10. 2 teaspoonsGarlic powder
  11. 1/2 teaspoonOld bay
  12. Paprika
  13. Parsley

Cooking Instructions

    Cook your noodles according to box directions. While noodle cooking make roux. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter then add flour then whisk to make sure no clumps.

    Slowly add milk and heavy cream and whisk on medium heat

  3. 3

    Slowly add 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese and one cup Colby jack until keep stirring until cheese is melted. Add more cheese based on taste or preference.

    Add seasonings to cheese sauce and continue to whisk

    Drain cooked pasta and add some butter to drained pasta and mix

  6. 6

    Transfer noodles in to buttered baking dish

  7. 7

    Add your cheese sauce and mix

  8. 8

    Cover top with the rest of your shredded cheese then lightly sprinkle some paprika on top

  9. 9

    Bake for 30 minutes or until all cheese is melted on 350 degrees then garnish with some parsley flakes

Thank you so much for posting this recipe, 2025 and I just made it last night. Absolutely to die for, I just added extra sharp Gouda cheese to mine as well!
