Ingredients

20 minutes
6 servings
  1. 1 cupwhite sesame seeds
  2. 1 cupjaggery
  3. 1 tspghee
  4. 2 tspwater
  5. 1 pinchbaking soda

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Roast til in kadai on a very slow flame till aroma comes. Make sure the colour of the til shouldn't be changed..
    Transfer in a plate.

    In the same kadai, add jaggery, stir continuously well, make syrup, bubbles come up, put 2 drops of jaggery syrup in a water, check it is harden and not sticky, like crunchy.

  3. 3

    Add ghee, soda, stir well, colour will change in light golden colour and fluffy.. Add quickly seasme seeds, turn off gas, and mix well.

  4. 4

    Flatten evenly on greased platform.
    Roll thin as much as you can.. Make cut with knife of your choice.

    When cools completely, store in an airtight container..
