Ingredients

  1. 2 CupsAll Purpose Flour
  2. 1/2 CupUnsalted Butter
  3. 2Eggs
  4. 2 CupsSugar - Powdered
  5. 1 TeaspoonVanilla Extract
  6. 1 CupMilk
  7. 1/2 TeaspoonBaking Soda
  8. 1.5 TeaspoonsBaking Powder
  9. 4 TablespoonsCocoa Powder
  10. 1/2 TeaspoonSalt
  11. 1 TablespoonNescafe / Bru

Cooking Instructions

    Pre Heat the oven to 180 c

    Sift all purpose flour through a seive

  3. 3

    Beat the Butter and suger until light and fluffy.

  4. 4

    Add egg to this mixture- One by one

  5. 5

    Add flour (3 additions) and milk (2 additions) ending with flour

  6. 6

    Mix baking powder and baking soda and beat well. Now add Cocoa and salt and mix well until combined

  7. 7

    At the end add coffee powder and mix well until the entire mixture has combined. Scrape down the walls of the bowl and fold the mixture with a spatula.

    Pour the batter into a cake tin lined with parchment or wax paper. Bake for 25-30 mins. Cook until no batter sticks to the toothpick when insterted.

    Allow the tin to cool for 10 mins. Transfer the cake to a wire rack to cool.
