Chop the apple and orange up into small pieces. Make sure there are no seeds. If desired skin the apple before chopping. Add the ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth. Add ice if desired.

So in trying to eat healthier and being on the go I have been playing around with smoothies. This one is by far the best I have made yet!Makes 1 16oz Smoothie*The Nutmeal Mixture is something I made for that extra goodness punch.It is:1/2cup Roasted Cashews (No salt)1/2cup Walnut halves & Pieces1/2cup Whole Natural Almonds1/2cup Steel Cut OatsBlend all ingredients (it will cake up so it takes a few tries)This makes 2 cups of the mixture and I add 1/4cup to the smoothie after all other ingredients are blended and reblend together.*Tip- Pre-portion fruit and veggie ingredients in freezer bags and store in freezer for quicker breakfasts CookingWithCuda -
