Ingredients

  1. 2 tbspoil
  2. 1/4 tbsponion powder
  3. 1 1/2 cuprice
  4. 1/2 tspgarlic powder
  5. 2 1/2 cupchicken broth
  6. 1 cupplain tomato sauce
  7. 4 tbspfinely chopped parsley
  8. 4 tbspfinely chopped parsley

Cooking Instructions

    In a medium sauce pan, heat oil over medium heat.

    Add dry rice and cook for about 5 minutes or until rice becomes a golden brown color.

    Add onion and garlic powder and cook for a couple more minutes

  4. 4

    Add in broth and tomato sauce (slowly as to avoid sizzling) and parsley (if using). Stir and bring to boil.

    Once boiling, reduce heat to a simmer for 20-25 minutes, and fluff with fork.

I made this last night. It was very good. I did add cumin and chili powder.
