SWEDISH MEATBALLS! !!
They may not look good but they were wonderful!!!! It can be put in the crockpot in the morning and be ready to eat when the kids get home. :chef

BIRD... PUT THEM IN THE OVEN COVERED FOR 1 hr AT 350°… while the meatballs are the oven boil your noodles. :-)

  1. 1**** in this recipe you can use a package of meatballs. if you have store bought meatballs skip to step #4
  2. MEATBALLS
  3. 1 lbground beef
  4. 1/2 lbground pork
  5. 1 smallonion
  6. 3/4 cupfinely chopped bread crumbs
  7. 1 tbspparsley
  8. 1 tspsalt (I use season salt)
  9. 1 tspblack pepper
  10. 1 tspgarlic minced, or 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  11. 1 tbspworcestershire sauce
  12. 1egg
  13. 1 cupmilk
  14. 1/3 cupcooking oil
  15. GRAVY
  16. 1/4 cupflour
  17. 1/4 tspsalt
  18. 1/4 tspgarlic powder
  19. 1 tsppepper
  20. 1 tsppaprika
  21. 2 cupwater or broth
  22. 3/4 cupsour cream

Cooking Instructions

    combine, meat , onion, bread crumbs, parsley, salt, pepper, garlic powder, worcestershire sauce, egg, and milk in a bowl and mix by hand.

    shape into meatballs the size of walnuts.

    brown in skillet with oil. place meatballs as they get done in slow cooker. once they are all in cook for 30 minutes covered, on high. it just gets the crock pot hot.

    in drippings from frying meatballs add salt, the other 1/2 the onion, pepper, broth & paprika. add broth and sour cream.

    pour over meatballs.

    cover and cook on low for 5 hrs.

    can be served over butter noodles that are seasoned with salt, pepper, & garlic powder.

    **** if I use store bought meat balls. I put in a Rubbermaid container and sprinkle with pepper, garlic powder, and worstershire sauce. I put fresh minced onion on the meatballs... mix by hand and cover overnight.. I generally do my prep in the evening.
