Ingredients

30 mins
6 servings
  1. 1 1/4 cupall purpose flour
  2. 1/4 tspsalt
  3. 1/4 tspbaking powder
  4. 1 stickroom tempature butter (unsalted)
  5. 5 tbspwater
  6. 1**** enough flour to lightly flour surface
  7. 1**** forum user said 1/3 lard could be used..

Cooking Instructions

    whisk together all dry ingredients...

    add stick of butter.. use pastry blender to incorporate butter and flour mixture ... should look crumbly..

  3. 3

    add water and mix with pastry blender until larger crumbs form.

  4. 4

    pour it out on floured surface and squeeze the dough into a ball.

    wrap in Saran wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes before rolling out.

    *** I asked on the forum if it could be frozen. the suggestion was made to put Saran wrap bundles in a ziplock freezer bag before freezing.
