Ingredients

20 mins
12 servings
  1. 12 largeeggs
  2. 1bowl of warm water
  3. 1stovetop pot of boiling water
  4. 1ice

Cooking Instructions

20 mins
  1. 1

Gently put eggs in a bowl of warm water (this is important so your eggs do not crack when placed in boiling water)

  2. 2

Meanwhile put a pot on stove with enough water that it will cover eggs. Bring to boil.

  3. 3

With large slotted spoon gently lower each egg into boiling water. Put lid on and return to a low-medium boil. Remove lid and continue boiling.

  4. 4

    Set timer for 13 minutes.

  5. 5

When time is up place pot in sink and continue running cold water into pot for about 1 minute.

  6. 6

Now pour out 1/2 water and put plenty of ice in pot to fill to the top. Wait 2 min.

  7. 7

Now crack crack crack eggs gently on countertop all the way around egg. Peel eggs. The shells should practically slide off.

  8. 8

This is a no fail way to have the shells come off completely without fuss :-)
