Steps

Cover eggs with cold water in a medium sized pot at least 1 inch above eggs.

Heat uncovered to boiling.

After the eggs come to a boil, remove from heat and cover.

Let stand in covered pot for 18 minutes and then cool immediately in cold water.
- 5
Tap egg to crack shell; roll egg between hands to loosen shell, then peel.
- 6
If shell is hard to peel, hold egg under cold water while peeling.
