Ingredients

2 portions.
  1. 1/4 kgrice
  2. 1small turmeric root
  3. 1 clovegarlic
  4. 1small ginger
  5. 1small onion, chopped
  6. Oil
  7. 2 cupswater

Cooking Instructions

    Wash the turmeric, ginger and the garlic.

  2. 2

    Grate them in a clean plate.

  3. 3

    Put the oil in a clean sufuria and add the onions.

  4. 4

    Allow the onions to cook till golden brown. Add the grated ingredients an allow to cook for 30 seconds.

    Once cooked add water and bring to boil.

  6. 6

    Wash the rice thoroughly and add to the boiling water.

  7. 7

    Allow to cook till the water is completely evaporated.

  8. 8

    Once cooked garnish with slices of tomato and parsley.
